Hi! I’m Athena Shadden and I’m a third-year astronomy major from Houston, TX. When I’m not keeping up with the latest news in astronomy, I’m reading sci-fi novels, playing video games, and practicing the piano (although not as much as I should be). I’m really excited to be one of your co-presidents this year!

Hi! I go by April, and I'm excited to be ASA's co-president this year. I was born in Buenos Aires and raised in Dubai. I'm a third-year Astronomy major here at UT. In my free time I like to paint, play video games, and play tennis with my friends. 

​Hello! I'm Maya Vigil and I'm a second-year Astronomy major from here in Austin! Besides learning about all space, I love to dance, do photography, and read anything sci-fi/fantasy related. I'm so excited to be y'all's secretary!

Hello! I'm Delyla a third year astro/physics major. I'm unfortunately studying purely out of spite to conquer the mysteries on the universe. I've been interested in space since I was seven and love getting to learn more about dark energy and blackholes. I also enjoying reading, art, and have two cats that I share plenty of pictures of.

Howdy! I'm Mike Jennings and I'm a third-year transfer student majoring in Physics and Space Sciences from San Diego, California. I'm currently studying properties of Stellar Plasma Physics in Dr. Montgomery's White Dwarf research stream. My dream is to one day work for NASA to help build a sustainable Lunar settlement. I like to listen and discuss music in my free time as well as video edit. Nice to meet you!

Hey Y’all! I’m Orion Vasquez and a first year astronomy major from Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila/Del Rio, Texas! I have a love from space passed down through generations (shoutout to my moms!) and am obsessed with anything remotely nature related. In my free time I love playing video games, journaling, and foraging for herbs and flowers.
